Master Learning

Michael graduated from Brunel University, West London in 2000 after reading for a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Economics Business Finance.

In 2004, Michael attained his Graduate Diploma in Education (teaching).  His professional experience includes tutoring and classroom teaching in UK and overseas education systems and working within the private sector as a financial services executive in the City of London and overseas markets.

It is fair to say he prides himself on his ‘real world’ application to teaching and learning – bringing to life the arduous content of the textbook to enliven it’s relevance and importance in the mind’s eye of his students.

A dynamic approach focussing on what works and discarding what does not, keeps student engagement high for optimal learning and ensures maximum subject understanding and exam success.  There’s a maxim that states:

“There are people that can do and people that can teach.”

In Michael’s opinion, the consummate executive, leader, student and teacher in today’s world must all consist of the ability to do both – there is probably no greater way to learn than to teach.

The ethos of Master Learning is to self actualise the learner so that they self teach for the remainder of their lives and share their knowledge and wisdom with others.

In his spare time Michael is a practitioner of martial arts and is an avid financial spread trader.
